Just when it seems like every storefront is either empty or going out of business on Tennyson in the Northwest Highlands neighborhood, there is a new shining light! Move over Real Baby; you’re not the only one in the neighborhood to have Sophie the Giraffe in your boudoir.
Previously known as the Denver Diaper Co., The Giggling Green Bean
has moved into a space on 39th
and Tennyson. This smart fresh baby store has innovative gifts, organic clothing, mama gear, quality wooden toys, and a dedication to helping you find a sustainable cloth diaper system that can work for you and your family. These aren’t your mother's cloth diapers. They have a huge selection of modern diapering systems to choose from. They will happily walk you through how to use and make cloth diapers as easy as the disposable kind! Think of all those overstuffed landfills. They are also very committed to the Highlands and Denver community. They offer free classes on diapering and babywearing, and charge a small fee to get certified in Infant CPR, along with so much more.
Don't miss their Black Friday sale next week. They plan to open early at 9:00 a.m. and have hourly sales on items like Thirsties, Babylegs and clothing to name a few. Plus they will give any reader 10% off (certain items excluded) if you bring in your Nugget email! It can be used at any time, not just Black Friday.
Next time you’re in the neighborhood, drive straight through 32nd and take a right at Tennyson. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with what you find.
If you happen to stop by on a Thursday, don’t forget to head over to Brasserie Felix
for their Thursday night wine tastings from 6-8 p.m. The tastings include four wine tastes, one full pour and complimentary hors d’oeuvres for only $15.
