The home, office and co-op delivery service brings fresh organic fruits, vegetables and select groceries directly to your door. This Lafayette-based company opened in 2004 and has been growing steadily since. They work with local farms such as Strohauer Farms, Full Circle Farms and Grant Family Farms, to name a few, to provide local produce to you.

Bring the whole family out to play at Viva Streets this weekend! This free event will take place on August 14, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Park Hill. You'll be shocked to see the transformation that LiveWell Colorado and BikeDenver have created on 23rd Ave. (between City Park and Stapleton) taking it from a normal roadway to a fabulous and fun car-free parkway.
 
The streets will come alive with walkers, bikers, runners, strollers, hoola-hoopers, dancers, paraders, musicians, healthy food purveyors and anyone wanting to play in the streets for the day. Join your friends and family for Zumba, a bike rodeo, yoga, garden and cooking demos and maybe even some food trucks.

Paper or plastic? It's the never-ending debate at the end of every grocery trip. 

This two-party system stinks.

The good news: Times are changing and we are all trying to eliminate using either one when leaving the store. People are recognizing they aren't good for the environment and reusable bags made and manufactured in the USA are a smart solution.

The bad news: Our produce doesn't always fare well when the bagger is stuffing everything into those few reusable bags that you brought. Sometimes they emerge with bumps and bruises that weren't there when you carefully chose them in the store.
